Usually, the faucets are not attached to the sink but are attached in the wall. If the faucet comes in the way of removing the sink, then it will have to be temporarily removed, using a pipe wrench, after you have disconnected the water supply line. If the faucet is attached to the sink, then it will have to be removed and reattached to the new one. In that case, attach the faucet before you put the sink in place.
Step #3: Spread the old cloths around the area you're working in. Loosen the screw(s) without damaging the sink or the countertop area.
Faucets have a vital role in the sink, as they are responsible for dispensing water, and thus need to be in working condition all the time. In case of leaks or noises in these faucets, you need to either repair or replace them. Leaky faucets can become a nuisance because of having to mop up all water on the floor, and also because of the amount of water being wasted. The good part is that repairing a faucet is an easy job and you can do it yourself.
