Cartridge faucets are the latest household utilities and one amongst the most widely preferred faucet technologies. They usually do not dysfunction, however, continuous load on the faucet can result in damage of the O ring inside it. This ring is a rubber ring that is fitted into a circular casing. You usually cannot see it, unless you take out the aerator. You will need to repair the cartridge faucet if this ring breaks or gets damaged, in order to stop leakages and drips. The only way to repair a cartridge faucet is to replace the O ring with a new one, or completely replace the cartridge with a new one.
Bathrooms also cannot be neglected during renovation. As the faucets need to match your bathroom designs, brushed nickel bathroom faucets are a good idea as they go with any color scheme. They are also available for bathtubs and shower enclosures.
First, drain the water from the sink completely. Mix ⅓ cup of baking soda with ⅓ cup of vinegar in a big container; the mixture will fizz instantly. Pour this solution into the sink drain immediately and wait for 10 minutes. Finish off by washing the sink with hot water. If required, repeat the steps 2-3 times.
