You may also clean stainless steel sinks using hot water and bleach. Close the drain and fill the sink with hot water. After ten minutes, add one cap full of bleach to the water. Keep the water for one or two hours, so as to allow the stains and dirt to soften. Drain the water and scrub the sink using a soft brush or toothbrush. Use cold water to rinse, and wipe it dry with a paper towel.
The size of your faucet must match with your device because manufacturers often make those faucets which can only accommodate aerators of that particular brand. Therefore, you must identify if this is the case with your faucet as well.
Now just as you removed the nut holding the strainer, fix it again and do the same thing with the drain tail piece.
Step #4: Take the old faucet set out and clean the area properly. Inspect the area to see if any pipes need to be fitted or cleaned, and if the water lines require any repair.
