After you remove the faceplate, you will see a small screw. Remove it gently, and keep it aside, as you will need it later. Dismantle the escutcheon, which is the face plate around the fixture, by simply popping it off the wall.
A single bowl sink has only one basin and may be accompanied with a drainer. These are available in a number of sizes fitting the need of every kitchen. Wider sinks make washing larger serving trays and utensils easier.
Sometimes the problem could be occurring due to clogs in the pipe which is attached to your kitchen faucet. Turn off the water and keep a rag in the drain. Then remove the faucet head and arrange the parts in the order that you will have to reinstall them. Then use a plumbing snake, which can be found at any hardware store. Feed the snake slowly down the pipe to unclog the pipe, turn the snake around if you find any obstruction. Take out the snake slowly and replace the faucet parts in order. Then turn on the water and check.
As you can see, there are both advantages as well as disadvantages of using soapstone sinks. So, you have to consider all these pros and cons, think what kind of usage you will subject the sink to, and finally decide whether a soapstone sink fits into your needs and requirements or not!
