In case of a highly stained stainless steel sink, you can use a stainless steel cleanser. Rinse the sink with hot water and then scrub it with a sponge containing the cleanser. Use a soft brush (or toothbrush) to clean the faucet and the areas around it. After scrubbing, wipe the sink and rinse it with water. Make sure that the cleanser is removed completely. Otherwise, it can leave spots. Use a clean cloth or towel to wipe and dry the sink.
These devices can be easily installed in taps to regulate the water consumption. The aerator mixes air with the water and distributes it evenly. Many devices distribute this water in a single stream through one hole. However nowadays, new and modified versions of them have many holes and water passes through them. If you have faucet installations which are more than a decade old, then you need an aerator for the same. These are ideally installed at the tip of faucets and reduce the flow of water considerably, almost to 2, 1.5, or even 1 gallon per minute. This is of course at normal pressure.
You may also clean stainless steel sinks using hot water and bleach. Close the drain and fill the sink with hot water. After ten minutes, add one cap full of bleach to the water. Keep the water for one or two hours, so as to allow the stains and dirt to soften. Drain the water and scrub the sink using a soft brush or toothbrush. Use cold water to rinse, and wipe it dry with a paper towel.
The wide range of colors, styles, and designs, is a huge advantage in itself. Granite/acrylic composite material has a matte finish and resembles natural stone in looks.
